The dynamic sand flow filter should be based on the principle of reverse flow. The water to be treated should enter the filtration system through the inlet pipe located at the top of the equipment. The raw water should be evenly distributed through the water distributor, and impurities in the water should be filtered when the upward reverse flow passes through the homogeneous dynamic sand flow filter bed. The treated dry and clean filtrate (clean water) flows out from the top outlet. The filter sand containing impurities for treatment should be transported from the bottom of the equipment's cone to the top cleaner through an air lift pump. There, dirty particles should be separated from the filter sand through turbulent flow. During the process of falling back, they should be washed with a small stream of countercurrent water. The washed sand water is discharged through the sand washing water outlet, and the clean sand returns to the sand bed using its own weight to start the next working cycle.
